SWEET BEETS Tomato (Dulcea de Fagaras) is a collectible variety bred in Italy. Mid-season, indeterminate, reaching a height of up to 180 cm in a greenhouse. The bush is vigorous, with simple, side-facing leaves, taking up a lot of space. The clusters are simple, each containing 3-6 fruits. The fruits are flat-round, ribbed from the stalk, with plump sides, and a pinkish-raspberry color (some fruits may have small anthocyanin stripes near the stalk). The average fruit weight is 300-350 g, but can be larger, up to 600 g. When cut, the fruit is a bright raspberry color, juicy, sweet, fleshy, dense, and multi-chambered. The taste is sweet with a slight tartness, a true tomato flavor! The tomato has a LONG shelf life!
