Spider-Man: Power and Responsibility - ALTERNATE ENDING & BREAKDOWN
Before the ending was rewritten, the original version of Power and Responsibility ended with Electro's death. Peter realizes he became the hero he was meant to be all too late. From there, Peter swears that he will be the best Spider-Man he could possibly be in order to honour Max's life.
