Skyrim's Ebony Blade
The Ebony Blade in Skyrim is a powerful Daedric artifact associated with the Daedric Prince Mephala. Disguised as a katana-like greatsword, it begins with low damage but becomes stronger as the player betrays and kills trusted friends. Each betrayal charges the blade, increasing its life-draining enchantment. Unlike most Daedric weapons, it doesn’t require soul gems to recharge. Found during the quest "The Whispering Door," the Ebony Blade tempts the Dragonborn to embrace treachery for power, making it one of the game’s most morally twisted weapons.
