In this video, we explore the difference between controlled practice and freer practice in English language teaching. Controlled practice gives learners more guidance and limited choices so they can accurately practise a newly introduced language form, while freer practice gives learners more freedom to use the language meaningfully and communicate their own ideas. We’ll look at the purpose of each type of practice, how they differ, and why both are important in helping learners move from accuracy to more confident and independent language use. #esl #tefl #tesol #english #languagelearning #englishlearning
