This wasn't a vlog that was ever meant to happen! i'd just left a photo meet up at Ogmore bay South Wales, and thought id head to Porthcawl lighthouse for a reccy, prior to the storm coming the next day..
as you can see the weather looks far from stormy haha.. but it was still great to wonder round with the xf50-140mm lens on my Fujifilm XT3 looking for potential compositions. I put my camera in black and white mode and set off looking for high contrasty scenes, just as i would with street photography.
No a method i use often but it seemed very easy to find compositions i liked using my iphone in Noire mode then recreating a similar image with the Fujifilm XT3. great fun and a really interesting lesson learned!!
I wasn't expecting to see anything i liked but it just so happened i took some of my favourite image this year so far!
