In this tutorial, I'll show you how to adjust the playback speed of a video in your Canva presentation. Let's get started.
Step 1. Open your presentation and navigate to the slide containing the video you want to adjust.
Step 2. Click on the video once to select it. This activates the editing tools in the top toolbar.
Step 3. In the top
menu bar, find and click the Speed button (located next to the audio tools icon).
Step 4. A horizontal slider will appear with a default value of 1 (normal speed). To speed up the video, drag the slider to the right. You can also type a specific value into the number box, such as 1.5 or 2.
Step 5. To slow down the video, drag the slider to the left to a value below 1.
Step 6. Note: Changing the playback speed will also affect the audio pitch and timing. If the audio becomes distorted, click the Audio Tools button in the same toolbar and lower the volume to mute the original track.
Step 7. Once you have set your desired speed, click anywhere on the blank gray canvas outside the slide to close the settings and save your changes.
Step 8. Test the new speed by clicking the play button on the video.
That's it. Thanks for watching. See you in the next one.
