Drivers rallied at Piedmont Park on Friday afternoon after what they say is the third driver cut in a year and the elimination of the flat-rate fees for airport runs. They also express concerns that the Atlanta market is saturated with drivers and that Uber keeps adding more.

They say they will be turning off their apps from 5 p.m. to 3 a.m. on one of the busiest nights in Atlanta for the app-based transportation network.

The newest price cut was announced on January 8 on Uber's blog. The company states that the price cuts are temporary in 48 of their newer cities and believe the cuts will actually net drivers more profits in the long run during the slow in the months.
