Make a dragon egg or dinosaur egg from paper mache and a balloon. This is quite easy to make from toilet paper and two pages of newspaper. You do need to start crafting early, especially if you want to use it as a surprise for Sinterklaas. Covering a balloon usually takes at least three days. Making the claws and repairing the torn edges of the egg also takes a day before it dries, and then you need another day (a few hours) to paint everything.
