HOW TO INSTALL UBUNTU AND RUN IN VS CODE IN WINDOWS os
You can download whatever you want to ubuntu og(the one used in the video) or the ubuntu LTS both will run i have tried both..
THE commands used in this video are:
Enable-WindowsOptionalFeature -Online -FeatureName Microsoft-Windows-Subsystem-Linux
(The above code is used to turn on the windows sub for linux or you can go to the windows turn on off feature too)
sudo apt update (to remove all the errors while installing gcc)
sudo apt install gcc ( to install gcc)
\\wsl$ (type this in the file explorer to open ur ubuntu file then go to home and into your user file then create a new file to show in the vs code and to code)
in the left bottom corner there green button to enable wsl
