"In your eyes,
my heart finds a home,
Where my love resides,
but you're not my own.
Why did I lose my way,
in your loving gaze?
I thought I knew your heart, but now I'm lost in a daze.
I waited for you,
but you never showed,
My heart was full of hope,
but now it's slowed.
I had dreams of us,
of love so free,
But now I'm left with,
just a memory.
In your memories,
I'm drowning in the sea,
My heart is drifting,
away from thee.
My words flow like a poet's rhyme,
But without you, my love,
I'm losing my prime.
There were no distances,
in our paths to roam,
We kept running,
but never reached our home.
Since my heart got attached,
it's burning like fire,
Punished without a crime,
my heart's greatest desire.
I had a question,
but no answers to find,
I kept searching,
but got lost in my mind.
I don't know what's happening;
it's all unclear,
I feel like I'm changing,
bit by bit, my dear.
I longed for you,
in my dreams so bright,
Wrote a book of love,
like poets of old, in sight.
From the sky to the earth,
Our love was meant to shine,
You sparkled like a star,
a celestial wonder of mine."
