We're deep into the Genshin Impact 6.5 beta and HoYoverse just dropped mid-beta balance adjustments for Nicole, Lohen, and Prune. Let's break down exactly what changed and what it means for your teams.
NICOLE
Nicole's Hexerei passive got a significant bump — her Arcane Projection damage multiplier increased from 200% to 300% of her ATK. That's a 50% raw multiplier boost that now actually rewards building her offensively. Important caveat: this is still locked to Hexerei characters only, so she stays a Hexerei-first buffer. But within those teams, early theorycrafter numbers are already showing meaningful damage gains.

LOHEN
Lohen's change is C6-specific, so only relevant if you're going deep on investment. His C6 now grants two additional instances of Etched Into Bone and Soul before losing Joy accumulation in Masterstroke mode — up from one. The 7-second cooldown stays. This meaningfully extends his Masterstroke window and improves rotation efficiency at max constellation. C0 players won't notice a thing, but for heavy Lohen investors this is a solid ceiling upgrade.
PRUNE
Prune received two passive buffs this patch — always a sign the devs felt her numbers were broadly underperforming.
Tolling Synchronicity: ATK-to-damage conversion rate increased from 0.02% to 0.025% per point. Small per-point, but compounds well on ATK-heavy builds and makes the 50% damage cap far more consistently reachable.
Witchseeker Vow: Post-Elemental Reaction ATK self-buff jumped from 45% to 60% for 5 seconds. This is the bigger change. In a reaction-heavy Hexerei team, a 60% ATK buff genuinely pushes her personal damage into a competitive range.
Theorycrafter numbers are already reflecting solid gains across both changes combined.
