Long March-6A launches Yaogan-40
A Long March-6A launch vehicle launched the Yaogan-40 remote-sensing satellite from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center, Shanxi Province, China, on 10 September 2023, at 04:30 UTC (12:30 local time). According to official sources, the Yaogan-40 satellite (遥感四十号卫星) has entered the preset orbit and “will be used for electromagnetic environment detection and related technical tests”.
