It took us longer than expected but we finally finished the boys room makeover! It is amazing and EPIC! We painted the room in a light sky blue. We painted the ceiling white. I bought fabric for pillows, curtains & the fort. The curtains and rod are new. The pillows are awesome & I found great mustache fabric. I bought a hula hoop at the store for $3 and found black and 2 white sheets that we had & put it on the hula hoop. I then added the accent mustache fabric and added it to the hula hoop. I duct taped it close & then added the rope cords & an O ring to the top and hooked it to the ceiling. Jase cut an old skateboard in half & then we bought L hooks for $3 and added them to the wall for awesome accents on the wall! The new colors are great & the fun skateboards, black white & grey colors are fun. IN the fort they put all their big cuddly animals & they get to read inside the fort. We love the reading nook. They have a fun desk with the shelves above it and then their bookshelf holds their books and cubbies for toys! what a great epic room makeover! for super super cheap!
