Narinder Singh Kapany
Narinder Singh Kapany (1926–2020) was an Indian-American physicist known for his pioneering work in the field of fiber optics and optics in general. He is often referred to as the "father of fiber optics" due to his groundbreaking contributions to the development of optical communication systems using glass fibers.
