Imagine automotive parts up to 30% lighter than their steel or aluminum equivalents, with reduced energy consumption and CO2 emissions. This technical feat is now possible thanks to Valeo's Lightweight Composite Material.

Made out of glass fibers impregnated with resin, the Lightweight Composite Material is an innovative material which, although lighter, retains the same shock absorption capacity as steel. In this video, you can see its first automotive application in an element of the vehicle's technical front end: the crossbar.
