SharePoint Tutorial - The Image Web Part in 100 seconds(ish) - 2023 updated features
The image web part is one of the foundational building blocks in any SharePoint Intranet site, or indeed, any SharePoint site at all. Every SharePoint Intranet example will feature it, and for good reason.
Images will make your pages 'pop' and will be one of your best friends when it comes to user experience and overall user engagement on your sites
There are many ways to use the image web part on your site, and in this video, I run through the most common ways I tend to use it on every Intranet site I create.
Recently, Microsoft pushed an update to the text overlay on the image web part, which makes it even more useful and gives us a lot more flexibility in how we can style and position the overlay text on our images.
