How to empty the clear bin on your Dyson V7™ cordless vacuum
To empty the clear bin on your Dyson V7™ cordless vacuum use the new bin emptying mechanism. This hygienically drives out dust and debris in one action. There’s no need to touch the dirt.
Step 1. Take care to empty as soon as the dirt reaches the level of the MAX mark – do not overfill.
Step 2. Make sure your machine is disconnected from the charger before emptying the clear bin, and be careful not to pull the 'ON' trigger.
Step 3. To make emptying the clear bin easier, we recommend removing the wand and floor tool. To release the dirt, hold the machine by the handle, pull the red lever back and lift upwards to release the cyclone.
Step 4. Continue until the bin base automatically opens and releases the dirt. To close, push the cyclone downwards until it is in the normal position and manually close the base of the bin – the base will click when it is securely in place.
