Red Dead Online - The Naturalist Update - What's New
As the saying goes, everything new is well-forgotten old. So it's no surprise that the update featuring the Naturalist role includes many of the returning mechanics from RDR 2's story mode.
The good old Outlaw Pass has also been introduced, with the same terms.
New weapons have been added—a bow and a powerful rifle—and the Animal Researcher role is very similar to Arthur Morgan's study of fauna in the story, complete with the same animal field guide.
