Hey guys! I thought it might be helpful to create one video that highlights 10 of my favourite diamond patterns. A few I’ve shared before and a few are new! Let me know in the comments which is your favourite!

For each diamond, use 6 ft of cord per strand which is then folded in half and attached to your dowel using Lark’s Head knots.
Diamond 1 (Classic, Simple Diamond)
Use the inner left cord as your filler cord and tie one dhhk to connect the diamond at the top. Tie 4 more dhhks working down and to the right. Use the current inside left cord as your filler cord and tie 4 dhhks working down and to the left. Use the same filler cords and tie 4 dhhks on the left and right to create the bottom half of the diamond. Tie one more dhhk in the middle of your work to connect the diamond at the bottom.
Diamond 2 (Eye Diamond)
Create the top half of the diamond using the same method as you did for the first diamond.Use the inner left cord as your filler cord and tie one dhhk to connect the diamond at the top. Tie 4 more dhhks working down and to the right. Use the current inside left cord as your filler cord and tie 4 dhhks working down and to the left.
Working on the left, use the same filler cord and tie 4 more dhhks working down and to the right but pick up the inside left cord to use as your first working cord. Continue to pick up working cords to the left of the previous working cord until you’ve tied 4 dhhks total. Repeat on the right side of your work. Tie one more dhhk in the middle of your work to connect the diamond at the bottom.
Diamond 3 (Diamond with Square Knot)
Create the top half of the diamond using the same method as you did for the two previous diamonds adding one more knot on each side. Use the second cord from the left and right to tie a square knot around the middle cords. Use the same filler cords and tie dhhks underneath the SK to create the bottom half of the diamond. Tie one more dhhk in the middle of your work to connect the diamond at the bottom.
Grab the cord used to tie the square knot as your first working cord and then grab any of the cords from the bottom when tying the bottom half of the diamond.
Diamond 4 (Diamond Pattern with Woven Centre)
Create the top half of the diamond using the same method you did for diamonds 1 and 2. Grab the two inner cords on the right and bring them in front and then behind the cords on the left. Tie those two cords to the filler cord on the left. Grab the two inner cords on the left, bring them in front of the two loose cords on the right and tie them to the filler cord on the right. Tie the two remaining cords on each side to the filler cords and then tie one more dhhk in the middle of your work to connect the diamond at the bottom.
Diamond 5 (Diamond with Berry Knot)
Use 4 cords for this diamond instead of 5. Create the top half of the diamond using the same method as you did for the previous diamonds but tie one less knot on each side.
Use the second cord from the left and right to tie 3 square knots around the cords in the middle of your work. Take the middle cords and thread them through the hole at the top of your work. Tie one more square knot underneath the berry to secure it in place. Use the same filler cords and tie dhhks underneath the berry knot to create the bottom half of the diamond.
Grab the cord used to tie the square knot as your first working cord and then grab any of the cords from the bottom when tying the bottom half of the diamond. Tie one more dhhk in the middle of your work to connect the diamond at the bottom.
