Why Magicpin Co-founder (India's largest hyperlocal startup) joins Prime as Venture Partner?
Brij Bhushan, Co-founder of hyperlocal #ecommerce startup Magicpin has joined us Prime Venture Partners as a Venture Partner. In this role, Brij will be a key member of the Investment team and will contribute to all aspects of the firm’s investment, portfolio management and fundraising.
As a co-founder, he was instrumental in magicpin's growth, raising over $100 million from investors including Lightspeed, Zomato and Waterbridge. He says, 'after nearly a decade as a founder, I’m excited to return to VC, where I can help founders navigate their journeys, leveraging my experiences alongside a team that truly understands what it takes to get a company off the ground'.
Prior to founding Zomato-backed Magicpin with Anshoo Sharma in 2015, Bhushan served as Vice President at Nexus Venture Partners.
