The 13 Best Full Frame Sony Lenses Under $500
These are the 13 best full frame Sony E-mount lenses available for under $500. Everything from general use, travel, landscapes, action, wildlife, macro, video, and more.
Sony has released 16 zoom lenses, with 6 of them being power zoom models. There are also 8 prime lenses, all at different focal lengths. All of them are autofocus lenses.
For telephoto lenses, I recommend getting ones that have Optical SteadyShot (OSS), which is Sony's name for optical image stabilization.
Sony E lenses, for APS-C cameras can be used. However, the camera will go into a crop mode where only a portion of the image sensor will be used, greatly reducing the resolution of photographs.
Higher quality G Master lenses are all more expensive.
Before Sony was making mirrorless cameras, they used A-mount lenses on DSLR and SLT cameras. They can be used on Sony E-mount cameras with an adapter.
