Shock horror! HOI4! Hearts of Iron IV? Not EU4? Europa Universalis IV? Is this some sort of mistake? No! Today we play the Empire mod for HOI4 that has you playing in 1699 with the advent of the Great Northern War OR before the War of the Spanish succession (also known as the Thirty Years War)! It has great mission trees and is easily one of the best or top 10 mods 2021 I've played! I know some people don't like references to HOI4 lists so let me put it differently - it's a great mod that is really fun and you should check it out! I played as Sweden, but England, France, the Ottomans and more have awesome focuses!
