If you know me personally, you know that I have been obsessed with the latest Sleep Token album. It hits all the boxes for me. Powerful melodies, deep soundscapes, full of contrasting sounds and lyrics that can't escape my head. I couldn't help but sit down and pick apart the opening piano line from Atlantic, the first song on the record.
I created a reverb preset on my Neunaber Illumine, appropriately titled 'Sleep', to mimic the sustain of a piano. Bright, spacious, almost pad-like, but not distracting, this reverb patch sits gently underneath whatever you feed into it.
