024. Excel Count Cells with Text but Not blanks (Real blanks or blanks from formulas)
If you are using Excel and you want to count cells with text but without any blank, you can't use the normal Countif Formula. You need to learn how to modify it to suit your needs.
In this lesson you will learn variations of the countif and sumproduct formulas and tailor them to do a specific count:
1) Countif + special argument: Count cells with text and ignore blank cells, numbers and formulas returning blanks
2) Countif + "?*" argument: Does the same job as number 1
3) Sumproduct with -- and a len condition: Count cells with either a number or a text
