How to use & disable HDR on Windows 10 on HDR capable displays
If you have a BenQ SW display, BenQ PD display or any other display that is HDR compatible, you might notice that your display color mode is lockout and is in permanent HDR mode. This happens because when you connect a display that is HDR compatible, Windows is enabling HDR from the system output which also control the display firmware. HDR in Windows 10 at this point in time is great for content consumption and streaming in HDR , however, it is far for ideal in a professional photography workflow where color accuracy matters most. This video will show you, how you can disable HDR, what happens to your BenQ display when it is enable and explained to you why that option is there.
