Pokemon HeartGold & SoulSilver - vs. Elite Four Will
Your first battle in the Elite Four is against the Psychic-master Will. Will's team is united in their Psychic-type, making them easy prey if you happen to have a Dark-type on your team. If not, you'll want to focus on Electric-, Bug-, and Fire-types to take advantage of the dual-type weaknesses in Will's Pokemon.
Being up a team of Psychic-types, you should watch out for Confusion and Sleep. Will is deceptively easier than the other members of the Elite Four, with Pokemon all leveled into the low 40's.
After the battle, make sure to heal any damage and status effects before continuing.
