Tuesday Tech Tip - Building RPM Packages
Each Tuesday, we will be releasing a tech tip video that will give users information on various topics relating to our Storinator storage servers.
This week, Brett talks about packaging source code with RPM. RPM Package Manager is a free and open-source package management system. The name RPM refers to .rpm file format and the package manager program itself. This video includes a tutorial that walks you through the process of setting up an RPM build environment, pulling source code, packaging it with RPM and installing it with YUM.
