A brief video discussing how I set up the timer and found the "secret menu" to bind my receiver to my FlySky FS-i6 transmitter.
Link to the RC Powers thread I mention in the video is here https://rcpowers.com/community/thread...
I purchased my FlySky FS-i6 with the twin antenna receiver I show in the video here https://www.banggood.com/FlySky-FS-i6...
The cable I used to connect my transmitter to my computer to accomplish the firmware upgrade is here https://www.banggood.com/FlySky-Data-...
You can watch more videos on my lessons learned and reviews of the FlySky FS-i6 at this playlist on my YouTube channel • Inexpensive Park Jet transmitter series intro
Here is the link to the thread on RC Groups that covers a lot more of the items on the firmware upgrade than I will probably ever use. https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showt...
09 July 2018 edit, I just also realized that since upgrading the firmware, the inactivity alarm is now at 10 minutes rather than 1 minute with the stock firmware:) This was also one of my frustrations with the stock firmware and even just swapping a new battery I would have to either shut off the transmitter, push a button or waggle one of the sticks to keep the inactivity alarm from going off :)
Thanks for watching!
Blue skies and calm winds to everyone!
Park Jet noise...the "other" sound of freedom :)
