Two versions will be offered: a Standard Range with 325 miles of range and a curb weight under 20,000 pounds, and a Long Range model with 500 miles of range and a 23,000-pound curb weight. Both variants share the same efficiency rating of 1.7 kWh per mile, which could translate to under 20 cents per mile in energy costs—far lower than diesel's 50 to 70 cents per mile.
The Long Range version also supports an impressive peak charging speed of 1.2 megawatts, allowing a 60% recharge in just 30 minutes—ideal for mandatory driver breaks. Both versions come equipped with three independent motors, 800kW of drive power, and support for MCS 3.2 charge standards.
While Tesla hasn’t confirmed final pricing yet, the company previously targeted $150,000 and $180,000 for lower and higher range models.
