GeoWGS84.ai - Data upload

The platform supports various upload methods and file types.

The Upload GIS Data section provides several methods for adding your geospatial information to the platform.

Upload GIS File: This method allows for the upload of individual files. The platform supports common raster formats, including .sid, .tif, and .jp2.

Upload Folder: For convenience, you can upload multiple files at once by selecting a complete folder.

Upload ZIP File: You can also upload a compressed .zip archive containing your data.

Dataset Name: When uploading, provide a meaningful name for your dataset (e.g., "My_Dataset") to ensure it is easily identifiable Once the upload is complete, a summary of the uploaded data will be presented. To ensure proper functionality, all uploaded GIS datasets must adhere to these standards:

Projection & Datum: All files within a single dataset must share the same Coordinate
Reference System (CRS).
Resolution: Raster files should have a uniform pixel resolution.
File Format: Supported raster formats are GeoTIFF (.tif), MrSID (.sid), and JPEG2000 (.jp2).

Metadata: Files must contain accurate geospatial metadata and coordinate system information.

After uploading, you can manage your data in the Uploaded Datasets section. Here, a table provides an organized view of all your uploaded datasets. The table displays key information such as the Dataset Name, File Count, File Type, Dataset storage, andUploaded Date. Within the Action column, you can choose to publish a dataset, making it available for use in projects.You also have the option to delete any dataset from your account.After a dataset is uploaded, you can initiate the publishing process directly from this table, making it ready for analysis and viewing.
