After setting up bluetooth presence detection with the Presence script, people told me to look into Room Assistant.
From my own experience, and judging by the responses to my other video, setting up bluetooth presence detection is not as easy as it seems.
Room Assistant didn't only feel faster than Presence, if you have multiple raspberry pis setup, it can also tell you what pi you are closest to.
And the best thing is: you only have to do basic setup on each device, like it's location, mqtt server and devices to track! The positioning it does all by itself. And if you have discovery enabled for MQTT in Home Assistant, you don't even have to configure the sensor.
To link it to your person, you still have to write some automations, just like with Presence. Code is included.
