With Samba, you can open a network share on your server, with easy access to your Home Assistant configuration. You can edit the files with the editor of your choice, and copy/paste files.
With DuckDNS, you can create a domain name for your server. That way, you don't have to remember your IP to connect when you are outside the house. Even if your IP changes, it will get updated! And best of all, it comes with Let's Encrypt, so you can secure your server with your own certificate!
