In this Scratch 3 basics tutorial, we’ll explore the ‘Sensing’ category. This category contains all the blocks that relate to detecting collisions and user input. Scratch can detect interactions between sprites by using the touching block and the color sensing blocks. There are a couple of caveats that we cover including a way to cancel the ask and wait dialog box. We’ll explore the key pressed blocks and inspect the current blocks that refer to the local time of the user’s computer.
