Today we're talking about the Vuelta a España Femenina, one of the three Grand Tours on the calendar, along with the Giro d'Italia Donne and the Tour de France Femmes.
While riders like Demi Vollering, Annemiek van Vleuten, Marlen Reusser, and Kasia Niewiadoma have raised the bar for women's cycling in recent years, the reality is that many people don't even know this race is happening.
And here's the problem:
Without spectators, there are no sponsors; without sponsors, there's no investment… and without investment, there's no growth.
In this episode, I reflect on why women's cycling needs more real support from fans, what role we play, and why ignoring these races is a mistake if we truly love this sport.
Because this isn't about men or women… it's about cycling.
