📚 References & Technical Specs
Frame
Provides the rigid structure to mount components.
Usually made of Carbon Fiber for strength or plastic/nylon for lightweight builds.
Motor & Propeller
Brushless Motors: Use electromagnets to spin the bell.
Propellers: Convert rotational motion into thrust.
Note: Motors and props must be matched to the weight of the drone.
ESC (Electronic Speed Controller)
Takes signals from the Flight Controller.
Varies the speed of the motors by switching power on and off rapidly.
Flight Controller (FC) & IMU
FC: The central processing unit that runs the flight code (e.g., Betaflight).
IMU: Contains Gyroscopes and Accelerometers to tell the FC if the drone is tilted.
LiPo Battery
High-discharge Lithium Polymer cells.
