BJP holds 74th Republic Day rally in Srinagar, unfurls Tricolour at Lal Chowk
With the whole country celebrating the 74th Republic Day, Jammu and Kashmir’s Srinagar was also dipped in patriotic fervour on the occasion. Holding the Tricolour with smiles on their faces, the BJP workers held a rally in Srinagar. The rally was held from Regal Chowk to the Clock Tower making it a landmark rally after the removal of Article 370. The rally will end with the Tricolour hoisting high at Lal Chowk’s Clock Tower on the R-Day. The party workers further filled the ambience with patriotic slogans. State BJP General Secretary Ashok Koul called the hoisting a routine for the party. The tourists visiting the place on the occasion, also expressed their excitement. India is proudly celebrating the big day as the Indian Constitution came into effect on January 26, 1950.
