【松尾由堂（まつお・ゆうどう）】
Yudo Matsuo (Matsuo Yudo)

Born in Fukuoka in 1977, moved to Saga and Kumamoto.
Devoted to Bob Dylan in middle school, he started playing the guitar at the age of 15.
Upon entering the University of Tokyo, he moved to Tokyo and was shocked by the performance of Shuji Morita (ts) and began listening to jazz. Started working as a professional around 2003.
2012 Released the first album "BONANZA" by the leader band.
Popular in various places.
February 2018 Released 2nd album "Songs in motion" from SONG X label with his own quartet with Junichiro Oguchi (pf). In November of the same year, he released his first solo album "Atlantic stories" with the cooperation of Net Audio magazine. He is highly evaluated not only as a guitarist but also as a composer.
Currently, he is active mainly in jazz session work as well as a duo with Naoto Suzuki (gt) and his own trio.
1977年福岡生まれ、佐賀、熊本と移り住む。
中学時代にBob Dylanに傾倒、15歳でギターを始める。
東京大学入学と同時に上京、森田修史(ts)の演奏に衝撃を受け、ジャズを聴き始める。2003年頃よりプロとして活動を開始。
2012年リーダーバンドによる初のアルバム「BONANZA」発売。
各地で好評を得る。
2018年2月大口純一郎(pf)氏を迎えた自己のカルテットで2ndアルバム「Songs in motion」をSONG Xレーベルより発表。同年11月にはネットオーディオ誌の協力により初のソロアルバム「Atlantic stories」を発表。ギタリストとしてのみならず作曲家としても高い評価を得る。
現在は鈴木直人(gt)とのデュオや自己のトリオのほかジャズ系のセッションワークを中心に活動中。
