I am so upset with Google Pixel 3 XL - The usb preferences are not going away, I plug my phone to the cable provided with Pixel and it's not charging automatically, i need to manually switch the USB controlled by: from "connected device" to "this device". And i must do that 2 times, as the first time it's not able to switch, so i have to unplug the cable, wait few seconds, plug it again and the then i can switch to "THIS DEVICE" and the phone start charging fast .
OTherwise i must use the wireless stand, that thankfull i got it for free when i bought the phone at the google Pixeldilly shop.. I updated to Android 10, i reset the phone 2 times, the support via chat is useless and a waste of time!!! ( i wasted almost 2 hours for nothing!)
I AM SOOOO UPSET, I want the Galaxy Note S10PLus desperately!
Google Pixel 4 . sorry Google I wont be part of this journey with you anymore!
Forget the phone devices.. not for you, where are the Smart Glasses instead?????
I bought my Pixel 3 XL on 17 December 2018. We are on SEP 2019 and a list of issues came up:
1. battery is draining super fast
2. USB type C not charging
3. USB preferences are not disappearing, i cant charge the device unless i manually switch each time
4. i can only charge and slowly via wireless stand by google
5. USB data transfer GONE, i cant download files anymore (only using google drive, google photo o dropbox.
I spoke to the troubleshooting, and after the usual ridicolous questions, i was told: because we dont have a phisical shop, you are better off bringing the phone to Currys where you actually bought it from ( i bought in on the PIXELDILLY shop in piccadilly circus in London, on the first google store, clearly managed by Currys).
I have factory reset the phone, now with Android 10 updates, and still the situation didnt improve.
I will keep you posted on my solutions, which i only see as : 1. phone replacament, 2. phone replacement and switch to Samsumg Galaxy Note 10+, which is way faster, powerfull and better then Pixel 3. Sorry Google, this is my last Google phone device ( i had Pixel 1 for 3 years and after few drop of water, is now completely gone).
