Battle of Mesterby 2019
In July 1361, King Valdemar 4th (Atterdag) of Denmark invaded Gotland in the Baltic. He landed in the south of the island and marched north. At Mesterby Gotland´s peasant army tried to stop the Danes. This battle and the the Battle of Visby some days later are reenacted every second year.
