This video addresses a common frustration where Spotify automatically adds recommended songs to a user's personal playlists. It explains the two primary reasons for this and how to stop it.

For free-tier users, Spotify will add suggested songs to any playlist that contains fewer than 15 tracks. The solution is to manually add enough of your own songs to reach at least 15, which will disable this auto-fill feature. For premium subscribers, the culprit is often the "Smart Shuffle" feature. When enabled (indicated by a green shuffle icon), Smart Shuffle mixes recommended songs similar to your playlist's vibe into the queue. To stop this, simply tap the shuffle icon until it turns white, which switches it back to standard shuffle or turns shuffle off entirely, preventing any automated song additions.
