Take a look at my current cinema camera rig! It's a compact, streamlined camera build I use on my short films.

I’m running the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4k (BMPCC4K) with an Olympus 12-40mm f/2.8 (Micro Four Thirds), giving me an effective 24–80mm zoom range without ever needing to swap lenses. The camera is fully wrapped in a Tilta full cage, complete with HDMI and USB-C cable clamps/corner pins for rock-solid connections.

It uses a 15mm rod system, short rod for the Nucleus Nano follow focus motor, a second manual follow focus I use for zoom control, and quick release / dovetail plate, and a single NPF battery to power the camera and follow focus motor.

It records to external SSD media, uses the Deity TC-1 timecode system, the Tilta Mini Matte Box, and how the whole build stays compact enough to live fully assembled inside a case — ready to shoot instantly. No time consuming teardown/setups, nice and easy!

If you’re into filmmaking rigs, camera setups, or indie cinema gear, you’ll love this one.
