A fairly impressive winter storm and a severe weather event looks like a big possibility next week for the plains and deep south. Latest forecast solutions strongly indicate maybe 1 to 2 feet of snowfall for the northern plains along with strong winds that may lead to blizzard conditions. But to the south strong winds hear along with subtle lift and instability may materialize a organized severe weather risk consisting of supercells which of course could pose a risk for tornadoes with large hailstones and damaging winds. But as of now due to the moderate level of uncertainty, this only yields a 15% for severe weather on Monday for the ArkLaTx region.
