'Besame Mucho' - jazz piano Tutorial
This is a great tune to improvise over - lending itself to a number of different styles. If I get a chance, I will try other very different approaches.
For this one, I 'borrowed' the idea that the great Chucho Valdes uses for an introduction on one of his live trio performances - playing part of the Chopin Prelude in C minor - Opus 28 No. 20. as both an intro and outro
Also, I wanted to try out one of the bass patches on my new(ish) Nord 2 piano on a split keyboard with one of the pianos. I always find it a challenge to play a good bass line while imorovising in the right hand - keeping two quite separate lines is difficult, and the timing needs to be precise.
