CREATE MY OWN REMOTE WEB SERVER FROM HOME
• Ubuntu 20.04 LTS
1) CREATE AND CONFIGURE OUR DDNS NAME
• https://www.noip.com/
◦ Dynamic DNS
◦ Create Hostname
◦ redesplus
2) CONFIGURE THE COMPUTER
• Virtual Machine - Bridge Adapter
3) CHECK DDNS NAME RESOLUTION
• Check that we have Internet
◦ networkctl status
• nslookup redesplus.ddns.net
• clear
4) CONFIGURE THE ROUTER/COMPUTER TO UPDATE
• Configuration Dynamic Name Server (DynDNS)
• Install the no-ip client on Ubuntu

5) INSTALL APACHE
• sudo apt-get update
• sudo apt-get install apache2
6) CONFIGURE OUR WEBSITE
• ls /var/www/html/
• sudo nano /var/www/html/index.html
7) CONFIGURE THE ROUTER
• Configure the Router's NAT table
• Configure the Firewall
◦ Verify that port 80 is not blocked
• Check incoming ports
◦ ss -ltpan
◦ nmap redesplus.ddns.net -p 80
sudo apt-get install nmap
8) CHECK THAT THE SERVICE
