Harley-Davidson Motorcycles have evolved over the years from its first prototype, single-cylinder, 167cc model that produced 3 horsepower, through the World Wars were it was used more and more often as a reliable means of quick transportation, to the powerful engines we see today. No matter the engine, Flathead, Knucklehead, Panhead, Shovelhead, Evolution, V twin, to the M8, Harley-Davidson has enjoyed 120 years of vibrant history. May there be many more years to come.
