Say you have a range of data or a table and wanted to insert a row or column in between the data. To insert one row is fairly easy and there are multiple ways to do that either with the Ribbon commands or keyboard shortcuts. Inserting more than one row (or column) is just as easy. When you get to inserting one or more rows (columns) after each record, then it looks a bit harder. But not really since it just involved using the Ctrl key and multi selecting. However for larger data sets, that may involve a LOT of click so an easy way would be to use a helper column. See all this wonderful adding of rows and columns in the short video.
