Aggregate SOQL query example by using map in salesforce apex | apex programming
In this video, you will learn how to write aggregate SOQL queries in Apex methods and store the data in map collection. How to get all the SUM of all the amount of the opportunity and group the according to the stagename in apex method. Also how to make the apex methods map return type. How to use AggregateResult object as a array in the apex method. How to iterate the data from the AggregateResult object by using foreach loop.
Aggregate functions become a more powerful tool to generate reports when you use them with a GROUP BY clause.
Any query that includes an aggregate function returns its results in an array of AggregateResult objects. AggregateResult is a read-only sObject and is only used for query results.
Salesforce Apex, the Map class is a collection type that stores unique keys paired with values. It is used to quickly retrieve, update, or delete data based on a unique identifier, making data handling more efficient and faster than using lists, especially with large data sets.
