Why Hoyoverse fans can't stop playing Genshin Impact
I know a lot of Genshin Impact players feel like they can't quit the game because of all of the time and money that they spent on the game. It makes sense because I was in that scenario as well (I really wanted keqing and the game did not want me to have her)
But it gets to the point where they feel like they have to defend the money they spent on the game, and won't even give games like Wuthering Waves, Zenless Zone Zero, or Honkai Star Rail a shot because of how much they are committed to Genshin Impact
I just want to express that you do now have to feel trapped into playing a singular game, and you can always drop it. Especially if you spend money and time on a Gacha game, you need to understand that money comes and goes, and your fun and enjoyment in the games are valued. Doesn't matter how much money you spent on Mavuika or Genshin 5.3 patch characters, or on Carlotta or Zani in Wuthering Waves 2.0 update, or even what you think you have been saving for Honkai Star Raiil 3.0 Update, spend responsibly, and keep it minimal.
The new 5.3 Update for Genshin Impact was pretty solid, but it wasn't game breaking or changing much about the game, and I'm not a fan of the fact that exploration keeps getting locked behind 5 star character pay walls. Rinacita in Wuthering Waves introduced the Flight gadget mechanic, and ANY character can use it, and I think thats fantastic. At the end of the day, just play both games, or none, spend responsibly, and I hope you guys get Mavuika AND Carlotta :]
