You should be game streaming - ASUS ROG Ally
Although it looks like a great device, the price for the ASUS ROG Ally X (releasing July 22, 2024) has ballooned to $799 US. In the meantime, the 2023 Ally models are seeing price cuts, and sales on top of those price cuts...
ASUS dropped the price of the Z1 Base Model to $499, with sales commonly seeing $399 US almost continuously since Black Friday 2023. The 2023 Z1 Extreme model was cut to $649, with sales commonly down to $599 US.
At those sale prices, and knowing the performance difference of the devices, is the Ally X worth double the price of the base model while on sale at $399 US?
