How do I register my bank account with the IESS?
Procedure to register and validate the bank account of an Ecuadorian Social Security affiliate.
This bank account is used to deposit unsecured loans, reserve funds, sickness or maternity benefits, among others.
Registration is done online in the affiliate's account, and validation is done in person at the IESS Universal Service Centers.
From the same account, you can update your bank account if you change institutions.
